TSG Forest Hill Brentford Square

TSG Forest Hill Brentford Square in Victoria is your typical suburban tobacconist, stocking all the usual suspects you’d expect: cigarettes, rolling papers, and various smoking accessories. They’re open pretty consistently throughout the week, running from 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday, with a slightly later start on Sundays at 9:30.

Look, I’ve got to be straight with you – the shop’s got a bit of a mixed reputation when it comes to customer interactions. We’ve heard from quite a few visitors that the service can be a bit hit and miss, especially during Monday morning shifts. Some regulars have mentioned frustrating experiences with unexpected closures during advertised business hours, like finding “back in 20 minutes” signs when they pop by for their usual purchases.

They accept both cash and card payments, though some customers have mentioned feeling a bit pressured about their payment method choice. It’s probably worth having both payment options ready when you visit, just to keep things smooth. The store carries what you’d typically find at most tobacconists, though nothing particularly stands out about their selection.

The shop itself is situated in Brentford Square, and while it might not win any awards for extraordinary service, it does provide the basics for local residents who need their smoking supplies. If you’re planning to visit, maybe give them a quick bell first to make sure they’re open – we’ve heard about a few instances where customers have shown up during business hours only to find the shop temporarily closed. Just something to keep in mind if you’re making a special trip.

I reckon it’s fair to say this isn’t your fancy-schmancy tobacco specialist, but rather a straightforward local shop that gets the job done, even if the experience might be a bit ordinary. They’ve been keeping regular hours for the most part, which is something, but don’t expect any bells and whistles with your visit.
