Smokemart Sorell

Smokemart Sorell in TAS is more than just your average tobacconist. Open seven days a week, with extended hours until 7pm on Thursdays and Fridays, this shop has become a bit of a local fixture. They’re even open Sundays from 9 to 5, which is pretty handy when you’re caught short on the weekend.

The store stocks all your typical tobacconist essentials like cigarettes, rolling papers, and lighters, but what really sets them apart is their interesting collection of gift items and collectables. We’ve heard they’ve got some ripper Pop figures, band merchandise, and quirky adult game items. One visitor mentioned they could “spend a whole paypacket” browsing through their selection of caps, tumblers, and travel cups. It’s the kind of place where you might pop in for one thing and end up leaving with a handful of unexpected treasures.

The customer service experience seems to be a bit of a mixed bag, if we’re being honest. Some visitors rave about certain staff members, particularly mentioning someone named Reanna who apparently provides top-notch service. Others reckon they’ve had better experiences elsewhere. From what we can gather, most of the team is pretty friendly and welcoming, with visitors saying they’re greeted with a smile and offered help when needed.

You can pay by EFTPOS, card, or cash, making it convenient no matter how you prefer to settle up. The store layout makes it easy to browse around, and you might find yourself discovering interesting bits and bobs in every corner. Whether you’re after your regular tobacco products or looking for something a bit different, this place is worth checking out. Just maybe pop in during the week when it’s a bit quieter if you want the best service.

It’s the kind of shop that’s evolved beyond just being a standard tobacconist, really. Between the collectables and gift items, you might find yourself spending more time (and maybe money) than you planned. Fair dinkum, it’s become something of a general gift shop with a tobacconist twist.
