Valley Cigar Shoppe

Valley Cigar Shoppe in Fortitude Valley, Queensland is a proper gem for cigar enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The moment you walk in, you’ll notice their impressive selection of cigars and tobacco products, with everything arranged just so. What really sets this place apart though is their ripper of a cigar lounge in the back, where you can kick back and enjoy your purchase in style.

The staff here, particularly Arash and Maria, are absolute legends when it comes to customer service. They’re known for going above and beyond, especially with first-timers who might be a bit nervous about choosing their first cigar. I’ve heard they’ll walk you through the whole process, from selection to cutting technique, and they’re always up for a friendly chat while you’re there. No question is too basic, and they’ve got the patience of saints when it comes to helping beginners find their feet.

The lounge area is a beauty, offering a cozy spot to unwind and maybe even strike up a conversation with other patrons. It’s become bit of a social hub for cigar aficionados, where you can “chop it up with the gents” as some visitors say. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, never stuffy or pretentious, which is exactly what you want in a proper tobacconist.

They’re open Monday through Thursday from noon till 9pm, and they extend their hours on Fridays and Saturdays, staying open until midnight. Just keep in mind they’re closed on Sundays. The shop accepts all standard payment methods including EFTPOS, card, and cash, making it convenient for everyone.

What really makes this place special is how they manage to balance being professional while keeping things casual and friendly. Whether you’re a seasoned smoker or just starting out, you’ll feel right at home here. The regulars reckon it’s one of the best spots in Brisbane for cigars, and after hearing all the positive feedback, it’s not hard to see why.
