Cigar Social Retail and Lounge

Cigar Social – Retail & Lounge in West Perth is a proper gem that’s really raised the bar for cigar lounges in Western Australia. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by this amazing blend of modern luxury and old-school charm that just feels right. The place has this ripper atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while.

Their cigar selection is absolutely top-notch, with both Cuban and non-Cuban varieties that’ll make any aficionado’s day. What’s really bonza is how they store their cigars – we’ve heard they keep them in perfect condition, unlike some other spots where you might find dried-out sticks. The prices are actually pretty reasonable too, with visitors saying they’re lower than what you’d typically find at other Australian shops.

The service here is something else entirely. Nick, who runs the show, is a proper legend who knows his stuff inside and out. Whether you’re a complete newbie or a seasoned cigar lover, the staff will sort you out with the perfect smoke for your taste. They’ll even cut and light it for you – how’s that for service?

It’s worth noting that while it’s a members’ club, they’re really accommodating with visitors. You can organize a day membership if you’re just passing through, which is perfect for out-of-towners or special occasions. The lounge itself is decked out with comfy leather chairs, good reading material, and they’ve got this fancy air filtration system that keeps the atmosphere fresh.

They’re open Monday through Thursday from 12-8pm, Fridays 12-9pm, and Saturdays 12-5pm (closed Sundays). You can pay by EFTPOS, card, or cash, making it nice and convenient. Between the barista-made coffee, the option to BYO wine, and the general sophisticated vibe, it’s the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time chatting with other members or just unwinding after a long day.
