Murray Convenience Store And Tobacconist

Murray Convenience Store And Tobacconist in Perth, Western Australia is your typical corner store with a bit of extra zing. What really sets this place apart is their ripper selection of American treats and drinks – we’ve heard plenty of visitors rave about their USA soft drink collection. Along with the usual tobacconist fare like cigarettes and rolling papers, they’ve stocked their shelves with all sorts of interesting imported snacks that you won’t find at your local Woolies.

The store has some interesting hours that might come in handy for night owls. They’re open 24 hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while other days they’re running from early morning (5:30am) until midnight or 1am, depending on the day. Though fair warning – some customers reckon the 24-hour schedule isn’t always spot on, so maybe give them a bell if you’re planning a midnight run.

When it comes to prices, it’s bit of a mixed bag. Some regulars swear by their competitive rates, especially for tobacco products, while others reckon some everyday items like toiletries can be a tad steep. They take both cash and card, though there might be a slight difference in pricing between the two – worth asking about that before you get to the counter.

The customer service seems to be as varied as their product range. Some folks can’t stop praising the staff, particularly mentioning Cheyenne and Danish by name for their friendly service. These regulars talk about having a good yarn with the owner and getting spot-on recommendations. But truth be told, not everyone’s experience has been stellar – there’ve been a few grumbles about less-than-friendly encounters.

If you’re after a convenient spot to grab your smokes and maybe try some interesting American snacks while you’re at it, this place might be worth checking out. Just remember that like any local shop, experiences can vary, but the extensive hours and unique product selection definitely make it stand out from your average corner store.
