Cloud 9 Smoke Shop Highgate

Cloud 9 Smoke Shop in Highgate, Western Australia, is one of those handy local spots that doubles as a tobacco shop and a bit of a novelty store, so you can grab your smoking supplies and maybe sort out a cheeky gift while you’re at it. Sitting on a solid 4.3 rating from a hefty 323 reviews, it’s clearly built up a fair bit of a following around the area, and folks seem pretty chuffed with what they find when they pop in.

One of the best things about this place is the consistency of its hours. They’re open seven days a week, 10am through to 7pm, so whether it’s a lazy Sunday or a busy midweek dash, you’ve got a decent window to swing by. That said, one visitor did have a bit of a frustrating run when they drove a fair way out and found the doors shut despite the listed hours, so if you’re making a special trip it never hurts to give them a quick buzz first just to be safe.

The service is where this shop really seems to shine for a lot of people. Reviewers reckon the staff are genuinely helpful, with one customer singing the praises of a particularly friendly, professional and knowledgeable employee who happily walked them through Christmas gift ideas for their clients. That laidback, easy-going attitude clearly leaves a good impression, and a few visitors have summed up their experience as simply ‘very helpful’ — the kind of feedback that tells you the team here knows their stuff and doesn’t mind taking the time to share it.

All up, Cloud 9 Smoke Shop comes across as a reliable, welcoming little spot for Highgate locals. With its mix of tobacco gear and novelty bits and bobs, plus those steady daily hours and a crew that gets good wraps for their friendliness, it’s an easy one to add to your list. Just keep that opening-times tip in mind for weekend visits, and you should be sweet.
