Smokemart East Bunbury

Smokemart East Bunbury in Western Australia is your classic tobacconist with a bit of extra sparkle. The shop’s got all your usual tobacco needs covered, but what really catches your eye is their impressive range of giftware. We’ve heard from regular shoppers that they’re always stocking unusual and interesting items, making it a proper treasure trove for gift hunting.

The prices here can be quite competitive – one happy customer mentioned scoring a walking stick for half the price they’d seen elsewhere. They regularly run specials too, which is always a bonus when you’re watching your wallet. The store accepts all the usual payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you won’t be caught short at the counter.

When it comes to the staff, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some visitors rave about exceptional service, like one staff member who went above and beyond by visiting another store after hours to track down a special gift for a customer. Pretty amazing, right? Though there have been a few grumbles about service on occasion, most people seem to have positive experiences with the friendly team.

The shop keeps decent hours, opening bright and early at 8am Monday through Saturday (except Sunday when they start at 10am). They’re open until 7pm most weekdays, with a late night on Thursday until 8pm. Weekend hours are a bit shorter – Saturday until 5pm and Sunday until 3pm. These extended hours make it dead easy to pop in whenever suits you.

Along with their tobacco products and quirky gifts, they seem to always maintain good stock levels. It’s the kind of place where you might pop in for one thing and end up browsing for ages, discovering all sorts of interesting bits and bobs you didn’t know you needed. The store layout makes for easy browsing, and you’ll often find yourself having a yarn with the staff about their latest unusual finds.
