TSG Werribee in Victoria is your typical local tobacconist, though experiences there can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on when you pop in. Under new management recently, they’ve been working on sprucing things up a bit, and visitors say the shop’s looking cleaner these days with some fresh stock on the shelves.

Word on the street is mixed about their prices – some reckon they’re pretty reasonable, while others reckon they’re a bit steep. The service here seems to be improving with the new management team. We’ve heard from quite a few visitors who’ve had friendly experiences, especially with one of the women working there who’s apparently quite helpful. Though it’s worth mentioning that some folks have had less stellar experiences, particularly around closing time. There was this one time when someone called ahead about the closing time and still found themselves locked out, which wasn’t ideal.

They’re open seven days a week now, which is handy. You can drop by Monday through Friday from 8:30 in the morning until 6:30 in the evening. Saturdays they close an hour earlier at 5:30, and Sundays they open a bit later at 9 but still close at 5:30. Just maybe don’t cut it too close to closing time, yeah? The shop takes all sorts of payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you’re covered whatever your preference.

The store’s been making an effort to expand their product range and improve their service, which is good to see. Just keep in mind that experiences can vary a fair bit. If you’re in the area and need to stock up on your smoking supplies, it might be worth giving them a go, but maybe ring ahead if you’re planning to visit close to closing time.
