TSG Rowville

TSG Rowville in VIC is your typical local tobacconist, though experiences here can be a bit hit-or-miss. They’re open most days, running from 9 in the morning until 5:30pm Monday through Wednesday, with extended hours until 7pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Weekend warriors can pop in Saturdays from 9 to 5, and they’re even open Sundays from 10 to 5, which is pretty handy if you’re caught short.

The shop stocks all your usual tobacco supplies – your cigarettes, rolling papers, lighters, and whatnot. We’ve heard from visitors that they offer a pretty good variety of products, and their prices tend to be more competitive than what you’d find at the supermarkets. Actually, one bloke mentioned scoring some decent deals on his favorite brands here.

When it comes to customer service, well, it’s been a mixed bag from what we’ve gathered. Some visitors reckon they’re lovely people who’ll sort you right out, while others have had less stellar experiences. There was this one time a customer came in for some rolling tobacco and wasn’t too happy with the stock being a bit old and dry. They managed to get a refund in the end, but it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing.

The shop takes various payment methods including EFTPOS, card, and cash, so you won’t be caught out there. It’s worth noting that while the prices might be good, you might want to check the freshness of your purchases before heading home. Sometimes things can be a bit variable, like that time someone had to resort to the old banana peel trick to salvage their dry tobacco (bit of bush mechanic ingenuity there, if you ask me).

All in all, TSG Rowville is your basic neighborhood tobacconist. They might not be winning any service awards, but they keep the lights on seven days a week and their prices won’t break the bank. Just remember to give your purchases a quick once-over before you leave the shop.
