Rosebud Tobacconist

Rosebud Tobacconist in Victoria is your typical local smoke shop, but with a bit of personality thrown in. The bright, clean store offers a decent range of tobacco products and smoking accessories, plus they’ve got a selection of gift items if you’re in the market for something different. From what we’ve heard, they stock everything from your basic durries to rolling papers and all the bits and pieces you might need.

The staff situation here is a bit of a mixed bag, if we’re being honest. Most visitors reckon the current crew is pretty friendly and helpful – you know, the kind of service where they actually seem interested in helping you out. Some regulars have been coming here for years and swear by the friendly service they get. Though it’s worth mentioning there have been some not-so-great experiences in the past, particularly around refunds and customer interactions.

When it comes to prices, well, that’s another story that’ll make you scratch your head. Some customers reckon they’ve found good deals here, especially on certain tobacco products. But others have pointed out that some items might be a few dollars dearer than other shops in the area. There’s also a surcharge for card payments, which has ruffled a few feathers.

They’re open seven days a week, which is pretty convenient. Monday through Saturday they open their doors at 9am, closing at 5:30pm most days except Thursday and Friday when they stay open till 6pm. Sundays they take it a bit easier, operating from 10am to 4pm. The store accepts various payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash.

The shop itself looks well-maintained and organized, making it easy to find what you’re after. While some visitors say the gift selection is a bit limited, others appreciate having the option to grab a present while they’re there. It’s one of those places that might not be perfect, but it gets the job done for most people’s smoking supply needs.
