Free Choice Tobacconist Newcomb

Free Choice Tobacconist Newcomb in Victoria isn’t your average smoke shop. This little gem has become a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. The moment you walk in, you’ll notice it’s got that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home.

What really sets this place apart is their incredible range of products. Sure, they’ve got all your usual tobacco needs covered, but they’ve also got this amazing selection of crystals and unique gift ideas that you wouldn’t expect to find in a tobacconist. We’ve heard from regulars that the crystal collection is particularly special, and the gift options are proper bonza. Plus, visitors say the prices are really competitive, which is always a winner in my book.

The service here is something else entirely. The owner and staff are absolute legends who love a good chat. They’re not just there to sell you something and send you on your way – they’re genuinely interested in having a yarn. One visitor even mentioned sharing a paranormal experience with the staff, which gives you an idea of how comfortable people feel here. It’s that kind of place where you might pop in for a quick purchase and end up staying for a proper conversation.

They’re open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm (closed Sundays), so there’s plenty of time to drop by. The shop accepts all major payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, making it convenient for everyone. Some folks have been coming here for decades, which really tells you something about the quality of both the products and service.

It might be on the smaller side, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in character and quality. Whether you’re after tobacco products or just curious about their unique gift selection, you’ll find the staff are always ready to help with a smile and a friendly chat. It’s no wonder this place has become such a cornerstone of the local community.
