Tobacco Station Mornington

Tobacco Station Mornington in Victoria is a well-regarded local tobacconist that’s earned quite a reputation for its friendly service. You’ll find the usual suspects here: cigarettes, rolling papers, lighters, and other smoking accessories that you’d expect from your neighborhood tobacco shop.

The staff here are absolute champions when it comes to customer service. We’ve heard from plenty of visitors that the team, including Mark behind the counter, goes above and beyond to help customers find what they’re after. Even when there’s been a bit of a language barrier, the service has stayed top-notch and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re being looked after properly, not just another customer walking through the door.

They’re open most days of the week, running from 9 in the morning until 6pm Monday through Wednesday, with slightly later closing times of 6:30pm on Thursday and Friday. Saturday they’re open until 5:30pm, but they take Sundays off for a well-deserved break. Worth noting though, we’ve heard that sometimes they might close unexpectedly, so maybe give them a buzz before making a special trip.

The store accepts all the usual payment methods, so you can pay with cash, card, or EFTPOS – whatever suits you best. While it’s not the biggest shop you’ll ever see, it’s got everything you need in a tobacco store. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re planning to visit, it might be worth double-checking their hours first, as a few customers have mentioned occasional unexpected closures despite what Google might say.

Overall, it’s a reliable little spot that’s built its reputation on good old-fashioned customer service. The kind of place where you’re greeted with a smile and treated like a regular, even if it’s your first time in. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Mornington, you’ll find what you need here, served up with a healthy dose of genuine friendliness.
