Royal Tobacconist

Royal Tobacconist in Melton West, Victoria, is your go-to spot for all your tobacco needs. Located in a convenient mall location, this friendly establishment has built quite a reputation among locals for their competitive prices and welcoming atmosphere. The shop stocks all your typical tobacconist essentials – cigarettes, rolling papers, lighters, and other smoking accessories.

What really sets this place apart is the staff. We’ve heard countless stories about their exceptional customer service, particularly about a lovely older lady who’s won the hearts of many regular customers. The team’s always up for a quick chat when they’re not too busy, and they’ve got this knack for making you feel welcome whether you’re a first-timer or a familiar face. Though there have been a few mixed experiences reported with card payments in the past, they accept both cash and card payments these days.

Price-wise, you’ll find yourself pretty chuffed. Visitors consistently rave about their competitive pricing, with many saying it’s among the cheapest spots in Melton for cigarettes. It’s no wonder the store has become a favourite among locals looking to save a few bucks without compromising on service quality.

The shop keeps decent hours to accommodate most schedules. They’re open Monday from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and both Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm. Pretty convenient if you ask me. While some shops can feel a bit rushed or impersonal, this place has managed to maintain that local shop feel where you can pop in, grab what you need, and maybe share a quick yarn with the staff if time permits.

Just remember, like any good local business, they’ve got their busy periods, but the staff does their best to keep things moving along smoothly. Whether you’re just passing through or looking for a regular spot, Royal Tobacconist has earned its place as one of Melton West’s more reliable tobacco retailers.
