TSG Melbourne Bourke St

TSG Melbourne on Bourke Street has become a bit of a local fixture for tobacco enthusiasts in Melbourne, Victoria. The shop’s got this knowledgeable Asian lady behind the counter who really knows her stuff when it comes to tobacco products. She’s the kind of person who can help you find exactly what you’re after, even if you’re not quite sure yourself.

The store’s got a pretty decent spread of products. We’ve heard they maintain a solid selection of cigars, and there’s always an interesting variety of lighters to check out. Visitors say the range of tobacco products is quite comprehensive, though sometimes things might take a minute to locate on the shelves. What’s really caught people’s attention is their pricing – apparently, they’re a fair bit cheaper than other shops in the area, which is always a nice bonus.

Customer service here is actually pretty impressive. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and they’ve got this reputation for being patient with customers’ questions. Even during later hours, people mention getting surprisingly good service. The store accepts all the usual payment methods – cash, EFTPOS, and cards, so you’re covered whatever your preference.

They keep pretty regular hours throughout the week, opening from noon till 7pm Monday through Thursday, staying open a bit later till 8pm on Fridays, and closing at 7:30pm on Saturdays. Sundays they open a bit later at 3pm and close at 7pm. Just make sure you don’t rock up right on opening time though – we’ve heard they sometimes need a few minutes to get the shop ready for the day.

Overall, it’s one of those places that’s built up a loyal following, mainly because of their competitive prices and the genuine service you get. The staff’s expertise with tobacco products makes it particularly good if you’re after some guidance or recommendations. It’s not the fanciest shop you’ll ever visit, but it’s reliable and gets the job done without making your wallet weep.
