TSG Clyde North in VIC has been a bit of a mixed bag lately when it comes to customer service. While some visitors rave about the friendly staff who go above and beyond (there’s even talk of a bloke who likes to sing while serving customers!), others reckon they’ve had less than stellar experiences with the new management. But you know how it goes with retail sometimes – everybody has different days and different experiences.

The shop’s got a decent range of tobacco products, with visitors saying they can usually find what they’re after. They stock all your typical tobacconist items like cigarettes, rolling papers, and lighters, and we’ve heard the prices are pretty reasonable. One long-time customer mentioned they’ve been shopping there for years because of the great prices, though there have been some recent grumbles about things getting a bit dearer under the new ownership.

They’re open seven days a week, which is pretty convenient – you can pop in anytime between 9am and 7pm. And no worries about payment either, they take EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you’re covered however you want to pay. The store also offers a Click and Collect service, which some customers find really handy.

It’s worth noting they’ve branched out beyond just tobacco products. There’s apparently a selection of kids’ toys and gift items available too, which makes it a bit more versatile than your average tobacconist. One customer mentioned it’s become their family’s go-to spot for what they called their “luxury hobby” shopping.

Look, if you’re in the area and need to stock up, it might be worth giving them a go. Just keep in mind that experiences seem to vary quite a bit these days, especially since the ownership changed hands. Some days you might catch them when they’re absolutely brilliant, other times… well, maybe not so much. But that’s just the way things go sometimes, isn’t it?
