Tobacco and Gifts

Tobacco & Gifts in Slacks Creek, Queensland is a ripper of a local tobacconist that’s earned quite a reputation for its friendly service and comprehensive range. You’ll find this well-organized shop stocking everything from your standard cigarettes to rolling papers, lighters, and even some nice gift items. We’ve heard they’ve got a particularly good selection of incense too, if that’s your thing.

The staff here are absolute champions. Visitors consistently rave about how the team goes above and beyond with their customer service. There’s this lovely story about someone who left their walking stick behind, and the honest staff kept it safe until they returned. That’s the kind of personal touch you don’t find everywhere these days. The manager gets special mentions for being particularly helpful, always ready to track down specific items customers are after.

Price-wise, you’re looking at some of the better deals in the area. Most visitors reckon the prices are pretty competitive, and while there’s a small surcharge for card payments (might want to bring cash to dodge that), the overall value is solid. They’ve got an ATM in-store too, which comes in handy.

The shop’s open from 5am until midnight, seven days a week, which is a proper blessing when you need something late. There’s free off-street parking available, though it can get a bit hectic during peak times. Fair warning, the store can get pretty busy, especially during those early morning rushes or just before closing when it’s the last shop of its kind open in the area.

What really sets this place apart is how clean and organized everything is. Even when you’re in a rush, the staff are quick and efficient, getting you sorted without any mucking around. They accept both cash and card payments, and while the store can get busy (it’s clearly a local favorite), the service rarely skips a beat. If you’re after a reliable tobacconist with good prices and friendly faces behind the counter, this place is definitely worth checking out.
