Freechoice Tobacconist Redland Bay

Freechoice Tobacconist Redland Bay is a handy little tobacco shop tucked away in Redland Bay, Queensland, and by the sounds of it the locals are pretty chuffed with the place. With a solid 4.7 rating across a handful of reviews, it’s clearly building a good name for itself in the area, and the feedback paints a picture of a friendly, welcoming spot worth popping into.

Opening hours are nice and reasonable through the week, with the doors swinging open at 8:30am Monday through Friday and staying open until 5:30pm most days. Thursday’s the big one if you’re a bit of a night owl, with the shop trading right through until 7pm. On the weekend they ease into things a touch later, opening at 9am and wrapping up at 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, so you’ve got options no matter when you fancy a visit.

What really comes through in the reviews is the service. Plenty of folks reckon the staff are genuinely friendly, always greeting you with a smile and making you feel welcome the moment you walk in. A few have called out the wonderful customer service specifically, and it seems the team here go out of their way to keep punters happy. If you appreciate being treated well rather than just rushed through the till, this place sounds like it ticks that box nicely.

Beyond the usual tobacco supplies, a number of reviewers have raved about the range of novelty gifts and cool bits and pieces on offer, so it’s not just smokes you’ll find here. There’s also a bit of chatter about the value, with one reviewer reckoning it’s the cheapest tobacco and ciggies going around Redland Bay, and another describing it as very competitively priced. All up, it comes across as a friendly local with mates’ rates and a few extra surprises on the shelves. Worth a look if you’re in the Redland Bay area and after a tobacconist that does the friendly thing properly.
