Smokemart North Ipswich

Smokemart North Ipswich in QLD is your typical local tobacconist, though experiences can be a bit hit-and-miss depending on when you pop in. The store’s got a pretty decent range of products, and visitors say they appreciate the selection of smoking accessories and tobacco products they keep in stock. Price-wise, you’ll find it’s actually quite reasonable, with many customers mentioning they’re happy with what they’re paying for their purchases.

The shop keeps regular hours through the week, opening at 8 in the morning and closing at 5 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend warriors can still get their supplies, with the store open Saturdays from 9 to 4, and Sundays from 10 to 4. Though we’ve heard some grumbles about occasional late openings, so maybe give them a quick bell if you’re planning an early morning visit.

When it comes to the service, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some regulars reckon the staff are absolute champions, going above and beyond to help customers find what they need. They’ve got a few long-time employees who really know their stuff and can give you proper advice about different products. But fair warning: not everyone’s had such a ripper experience. A few visitors have mentioned running into staff who weren’t quite as helpful as they’d hoped.

The store accepts all the usual payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you won’t need to make a special trip to the ATM. They stock all your standard tobacconist items like cigarettes, rolling papers, and lighters, plus a variety of other smoking accessories. Just remember that stock levels can vary, so if you’re after something specific, it might be worth giving them a call first to check if they’ve got what you need.

The atmosphere is pretty laid-back, like most local tobacco shops, and it’s easy enough to find what you’re looking for if you know what you want. Just don’t expect five-star service every time you walk in – some days are better than others, but that’s pretty much the way it goes with most shops these days.
