TSG Maryborough

TSG Maryborough in Queensland is your go-to spot for all things tobacco and smoking accessories, and crikey, do they know how to look after their customers! The shop’s got a ripper of a selection, stocking everything from tailor-made cigarettes to roll-your-own tobacco, plus all the bits and bobs you might need like filters, papers, and a bonza collection of lighters including Zippos (and the fluid to keep ’em going).

What really sets this place apart is their customer service. The staff are absolute legends – friendly, helpful, and always up for a laugh. We’ve heard that the Saturday lady (Kate, if memory serves) is particularly fantastic, making everyone’s shopping experience a bit more cheerful with her informative chat and good humor. The team’s known for being quick and efficient too, so you won’t be hanging around all day.

They’ve got a pretty impressive range of gift ideas as well. You can pick up anything from wallets to footy club stubbie coolers, which makes it more than just your average smoke shop. The store’s always clean and well-stocked, and visitors say you can usually score better prices here than at other places. While they accept both cash and card payments, just keep an eye on your change if you’re paying with cash.

The shop keeps pretty decent hours, opening bright and early at 6am Monday through Friday (closing at 4:30pm), and they’re open Saturday mornings from 7:30am to noon. They take Sundays off though, so plan ahead if you need to stock up for the weekend. Everything’s well organized and easy to find in the store, and the staff are always happy to help you track down whatever you’re after.

What’s really noice is how they’ve managed to create this perfect balance between being a proper professional tobacconist while keeping that friendly local shop vibe. Whether you’re just ducking in for a quick purchase or need some advice about their products, you’ll find the atmosphere welcoming and the service spot-on.
