They’re open nice and early from 9am most days (10am on Sundays if you’re having a lazy one), and they keep the lights on till 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays for those evening runs.

The shop’s got a ripper selection of smokes, with everything from your standard brands to some fancy tailor-made options. We’ve heard great things about their Double Happiness and Manchester’s with the Blue filter (complete with Golden Dragon on the filters, if that’s your thing). They stock all your usual suspects like Chesterfield and JPS, and word on the street is their Marlboro Reds are actually cheaper than what you’d pay in Germany – now that’s saying something!

What really makes this place special is the staff – they’re proper legends. There’s this one bloke who actually chased after a customer who dropped their card, didn’t even buy anything from the store! And there’s this lovely older woman working there who visitors say is an absolute gem. Just keep in mind there’s a small surcharge if you’re paying by card, but they accept all payment methods including cash and EFTPOS.
