Uncle Billys Tobacconist

Uncle Billy’s Tobacconist in Beenleigh, Queensland has become a bit of a local institution for tobacco enthusiasts. Located on the third door to the left of their shopping strip, this top-rated shop has recently reopened with a fresh new look that’s got everyone talking.

The store boasts an impressive range of tobacco products, with visitors consistently praising their extensive selection. You’ll find all your usual smoking essentials here, and what’s particularly good is the staff’s product knowledge. They really know their stuff and can help you find exactly what you’re after. Some regulars have been coming here for over 12 months, reckon they wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

When it comes to prices, there’s a bit of a mixed bag of opinions. While most visitors rave about the competitive prices, calling them “super great” and “very cheap,” a few reckon they’ve found better deals elsewhere. It’s probably worth doing your own comparison if you’re watching your wallet.

The customer service is generally spot-on, with most visitors giving top marks for the friendly, patient staff. They’re known for taking their time to explain products and make everyone feel welcome. Though, like any shop, they’ve had their off days, with a handful of customers reporting less than stellar experiences.

They’re open pretty much all week, running from 8am to 8pm Monday through Saturday, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays. The shop accepts EFTPOS, card, and cash payments for your convenience. Since their recent reopening, they’ve apparently stepped up their game even more. One regular customer mentioned the shop’s looking amazing these days, and the overall vibe seems to be that they’re “back and better than ever.”

Just a heads up though, if you’re planning a special trip to visit, might be worth giving them a bell first. A few folks have mentioned showing up only to find them closed, despite what their website said. Better safe than sorry, especially if you’re coming from a bit of a distance.
