About
King Of The Pack in Andergrove, Queensland is one of those local gems that’s become a bit of a institution in the area. Open from 2am to 8pm every day of the week (yeah, you read that right), it’s perfect for early birds, night owls, and everyone in between. The store’s got all your typical tobacconist supplies, plus a whole lot more that might surprise you.
The place has really made a name for itself with its incredible food selection. We’ve heard the $15 meal deal is an absolute ripper – we’re talking proper home-style cooking with generous portions that’ll keep you going all day. Visitors rave about their breakfast options, especially the Turkish bread and breakfast muffins. The hot food section’s a beauty too, with everything from burgers that some reckon are among the best they’ve had, to perfectly cooked chips that come out crispy every time.
The staff here are real champions – always up for a chat and ready to help you out with whatever you need. They’ve got that old-school friendly service that’s getting harder to find these days. Even when they’re flat out with tradies and locals during the busy times, they keep their cool and keep the smiles coming.
Price-wise, you’re looking at some of the best deals in town. The soft drinks are a steal at $1.30 a can, and most visitors reckon the food prices are more than fair for what you get. Just keep in mind there’s an EFTPOS surcharge if you’re paying by card. The store accepts both cash and card payments, so you’ve got options there.
Fair warning though – parking can be a bit of a headache. Lots of people mention it’s often tough to find a spot, so you might need to circle around a bit or walk a few extra steps. But honestly, given the quality of what’s waiting inside, most reckon it’s worth the minor hassle.
