About
CTC South Penrith, located in New South Wales, is your typical neighbourhood tobacconist that’s been getting mixed reviews from the locals. You’ll find it’s open from early morning until evening, seven days a week (7:30am to 7:30pm to be exact), which is pretty convenient if you’re someone who needs to pop in before or after work.
The shop stocks all your usual tobacconist supplies – cigarettes, rolling papers, and lighters, plus they’ve got drinks available too. Though, we’ve heard from a few visitors that you might want to check the quality of what you’re buying. One regular mentioned finding some tobacco a bit on the stale side, and apparently some of their lighters weren’t up to scratch. It’s probably worth having a good look at what you’re getting before you head to the counter.
Getting there’s a breeze, with parking spots right out front of the shop. No need to circle the block looking for a spot or trek halfway across town with your purchases. The shop accepts all the usual payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you won’t be caught short at the register.
When it comes to the staff, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some visitors reckon they’ve had a great laugh with Gary, who’s known for his friendly banter and making customers feel welcome. But others haven’t had quite the same experience, finding the staff a tad standoffish. Might just depend on who’s behind the counter when you pop in.
The shop’s been around long enough to become a local fixture, and while it mightn’t be winning any awards for excellence, it does the job for most folks who need their basic tobacco supplies. Just remember to check the freshness of your purchases, and maybe catch Gary on one of his good days for the best experience.
