About
Cignall Penrith Tobacconist in New South Wales is a family-run shop that’s become a bit of a local fixture, run by a husband and wife team who’ve really made the place their own. From what we’ve heard, they’ve got one of the most impressive ranges of cigars you’ll find anywhere in Sydney – and that’s saying something! The owner’s done a ripper job stocking up on all sorts of tobacco products, and they’ve got all your usual bits and pieces like cigarettes, rolling papers, and lighters too.
The prices here are pretty competitive, with visitors telling us some items even go for below the recommended retail price. Sure, there’s a small surcharge for card payments (30 cents, if you’re wondering), but the overall value seems to make up for it. They take both cash and card payments, so you’re covered either way.
The service is mostly top-notch, though like any shop, they have their off days. Most customers rave about the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff – particularly Nelly, who handles the Sunday shift and apparently goes above and beyond. The store’s got decent trading hours too, opening from 8am to 6:30pm most weekdays (with a late night on Thursday till 7:30pm), 8am to 6pm on Saturdays, and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
What really stands out about this place is how they’ve managed to build up a loyal customer base over the years. While some folks have had the odd hiccup with service, the majority reckon it’s a reliable spot for their tobacco needs. It’s not just about the products – it’s the personal touch that seems to keep people coming back. The staff generally know their stuff and are happy to help you find what you’re after, whether you’re a regular or just dropping in for the first time.
