About
Cignall Parramatta in NSW is your friendly neighborhood tobacconist that’s been keeping the locals sorted with their smoking supplies. The shop’s got a ripper selection of everything you’d expect – heaps of cigarettes, lighters (including a special collection of Zippo stuff), and rolling papers. What’s really neat is they’ve even branched out into selling gifts, so you might find something unexpected while you’re there.
The staff here are absolute champions. We’ve heard from plenty of visitors that they’re always up for a chat and know their stuff inside out. One regular mentioned that the young lady working there is particularly helpful and clued-up about their products. The place itself is kept spotless too, which is always nice to see.
When it comes to prices, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some reckon the prices are pretty steep compared to other shops, but here’s a hot tip: we’ve heard that most prices are actually negotiable if they’re not already marked down low. Always worth having a friendly chat about it!
They’re open bright and early most days, kicking off at 6:30 in the morning and going until 7 at night Monday through Friday. Saturdays they start a bit later at 9am, still closing at 7pm, and they take Sundays off. The shop accepts all the usual payment methods – EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you’re covered however you want to pay.
What really stands out about this place is how tidy and well-organized everything is. Visitors say it’s the kind of shop where you can actually see what you’re looking for, not one of those cluttered spots where you have to hunt around. Plus, they do Opal card top-ups, which is handy if you’re a commuter. It’s turned into bit of a local institution, really – the sort of place where you pop in for one thing and end up having a good yarn with the staff while you’re there.
