TSG Chippendale

TSG Chippendale in New South Wales is one of those handy little tobacco shops that’s become a bit of a local favourite. It’s a compact but well-kept store that’s got pretty much everything you’d expect from your local tobacconist, from cigarettes and rolling papers to lighters and all the usual smoking accessories. What’s really bonza about this place is that they’ve branched out beyond just tobacco products – you’ll find a decent selection of snacks and drinks too, plus they’ve even got this neat little electronics section with phone chargers and USB cords (which has saved more than a few forgetful travellers staying at The Old Clare across the road).

The staff here are proper friendly and helpful, always ready to give you a hand with whatever you’re after. We’ve heard from quite a few visitors that the service is consistently wonderful, and that’s something that really makes a difference when you’re popping in for your regular supplies. The prices are pretty reasonable too, with visitors often mentioning they can find everything they need without breaking the bank.

One of the best things about this place is its generous trading hours. They’re open from 6 in the morning right through to midnight, seven days a week, which is fantastic for those late-night emergency runs or early morning stops. The store accepts all the usual payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you won’t need to worry about making a special trip to the ATM.

It’s a clean, well-organized shop that might be on the smaller side, but they make great use of the space they’ve got. Whether you’re a local looking for your regular supplies or just passing through and need to stock up, TSG Chippendale has got you sorted. Plus, its central location makes it dead easy to find – just look for the neat little shop front that’s become a bit of a Chippendale landmark.
