Smokemart Charlestown

Smokemart Charlestown in NSW is a well-established tobacconist that’s become a bit of a local fixture. The shop stocks all your typical tobacco needs, from cigarettes and rolling papers to lighters, plus they’ve got quite a decent selection of gift ideas if you’re in the market for something special. Visitors say they can usually find exactly what they’re after, whether it’s tobacco or rolling supplies.

The staff here really seem to know their stuff, and that’s probably the shop’s strongest point. We’ve heard heaps of good things about the customer service, particularly about team members like Natalie and Jessy who go above and beyond to help customers out. One visitor mentioned how the staff are really honest about helping you choose the right products, which is always good to know. Though there was one instance where someone got the wrong tobacco pouch, most folks reckon the service is spot on.

When it comes to prices, there’s been a bit of mixed feedback. One customer mentioned having trouble with a refund when they found the same product cheaper elsewhere, so it might be worth checking around if you’re watching your pennies. The shop accepts all the usual payment methods including EFTPOS, cards, and cash, so you won’t be caught short there.

They keep pretty standard shopping centre hours, opening at 9am Monday through Saturday. They close at 5pm most days, except Thursday when they’re open till 6pm, and Saturday when they shut up shop at 4pm. They’re closed on Sundays, so make sure you stock up before the weekend’s out.

It’s worth noting that while they mightn’t always be the cheapest option in town, the friendly service and reliable stock seem to keep people coming back. The staff really seem to make the difference here, with many visitors praising their knowledge and helpful attitudes. Just the other day, I heard someone saying how they’ve stuck with this shop purely because of how well they were treated.
