Free Choice Tobacconist Campbelltown

Free Choice Tobacconist Campbelltown in New South Wales is a ripper of a little shop tucked away inside the arcade. This family-run business has become a bit of a local favourite, and it’s easy to see why. While it might be on the smaller side, they’ve managed to pack in everything a smoker could need, from your standard cigarettes and rolling papers to cold drinks and even a quality cup of coffee.

The owners have really nailed the whole customer service thing. We’ve heard from regulars that the staff are so friendly, they actually look forward to popping in first thing Monday morning, which says a lot about the atmosphere they’ve created. They’re always up for a chat while you’re getting your smokes, making it feel more like visiting old mates than just another shop.

You’ll find them open weekdays from 9 in the morning until 5:30 in the arvo, and they do a half-day on Saturdays, wrapping up at 2:30. They take a well-deserved break on Sundays. The shop stocks all your typical tobacconist items, and visitors say the prices are pretty reasonable too, which is always a bonus in these expensive times.

What makes this place stand out is how they’ve turned a simple tobacco shop into more of a community spot. You can grab your smokes, sure, but you might also end up having a yarn with the owners or enjoying one of their famously cold drinks. It’s the kind of place where you walk in as a customer and walk out feeling like part of the family. They accept all the usual payment methods too, so you can pay however suits you best.

Despite its compact size, this little gem has earned quite a reputation for being one of the friendliest spots in Campbelltown. The combination of good prices, great service, and those little extras like quality coffee make it worth seeking out in the arcade. It’s exactly what you want from a local tobacconist, really, a place where they know their stuff and treat you like a neighbour rather than just another sale.
